Merrimack Valley's ONLY Dog All Day Spa Care, Playground and Pooch
Pampering Center... this 3600 sq. ft. indoor climate controlled with an air
exchange system Spa includes
state of the art grooming and a 7000 sq. ft outdoor exercise / playground
area so they can romp and play with some doggie friends... They
receive a basic grooming and then gets to play afterwards while they wait
for you to pick them up. Daily basic dog grooming will
include a thorough brushing your dog, cleaning his teeth - if they let us,
cleaning his ears, wiping his eyes and a full body massage. Need to
administer medications during the day? We can do that too... we want
your pets to be healthy (and happy!). Appointments must be made for
bathing and a new hairdo by an expert groomer.. So, not only does your
dog come home 'dog tired', he is pretty spiffy too! Appointments for a
bath with nail clip are also necessary but usually can be accommodated
immediately at an additional cost.

insured, Town approved and is TLC Pet Care, LLC, a name you have trusted
celebrating our 12th year!
Our mission is to provide
Dog Grooming and Exercise in a healthy, safe, well supervised environment so
your dogs can romp and play before and after their daily grooming.
They will receive every time they come, a full day of TLC's Spa treatment!
What dog wouldn't want to be pampered all day and enjoy socializing with
some friends to burn off some energy too! Whether it is once a week or
5 days a week, your dog will thank you for giving him the opportunity to
socialize and play instead of being a couch potato.
Aroma therapy, thorough
body massage, holistic treats are all part of the experience. We have a
small retail area and information to keep you informed on the latest
holistic and natural ways to keep your dog healthy and happy. It's
what we want for ourselves, why not our loyal companions.
All pets will be
evaluated to insure compatibility before being introduced to new playmates.
For the safety of staff, other dogs and yourself, "Flexi"-type or
retractable leashes are not permitted on the property. Please
use a nylon or leather leash when bringing your dog in.

ANY NON AGGRESSIVE pet! Dogs are social animals who thrive on stimulation.
Just like us, activity helps keep them alert and healthy.
What you should expect if your dog attends day spa
Your dog will go home
tired and looking pretty spiffy. Your dog may be
thirsty. We will provide water but they may need additional water.
Your dog will play with
his friends so he may not want to play with you when he gets home (or at
least right away -- sorry.. ). You may notice your dog
licking his paws. Sore paws can be caused by all of the running around
your dog does while in the playground since he is not use to doing that
all day. At first you may notice
your dog seems stiff or sore in the beginning but we will be working on
those muscles to make sure they stay limber. Dogs play with their
mouths and paws. You may notice minor cuts, scrapes, or even small chunks
of missing fur. This can occurs in
play. Of course, we would notify you if something serious happens.
We keep on eye on dog's
poop to make sure it is "healthy" looking .. your dog will need to
be parasite free to attend. Your dog will not get
fleas from the spa, and it is requested that he is on a regular flea and
tick treatment... we can put it on for you and remind you your dog is due
for treatment. Does your dog take
medicines or require insulin shots, we can do that for you too.
There is no extra cost for this, it is all about dog care and health.
Requirements
Evaluations will be done
by appointment - M - Th after hours...
We will need a current
copy of your dog's vaccine records from a licensed veterinarian:
Rabies, Distemper AND Bordetella or Current Titers (if applicable),
a negative fecal no older than 3
months... puppies are required to have an additional Giardia test run
prior to coming. Proof of flea and tick preventative
All dogs over the age of 6 months old
will be required to be spayed or neutered (unless pre-arranged with
Management) All Dogs should be
non-aggressive and friendly towards people and other dogs A signed Terms and
Conditions Agreement to play, by the owner and a signed dog
information sheet
We will also need...
Pack your dog a light
lunch each time he comes to the spa. Even if he doesn’t normally eat during
the day, we find that during a full day of spa treatment, most dogs burn off
a lot of energy, and just like people their blood sugar drops. If everyone
gets a light lunch mid-day we have fewer cranky dogs in the afternoon.
We will provide snacks, but if your dog is on a special diet feel free to
send some of his special treats and we’ll make sure he gets them. Like
at a child's daycare, each dog will be assigned their own labeled bin to
keep their leashes, treats, medicines, etc.
Evaluation
To insure your pet's
compatibility with the group we will schedule an evaluation prior to the
first day at the spa. There is a $15.00 non-refundable fee that will be
applied toward the his first Spa Day and Play..
Late pick up
$1.00 per minute past
6:00pm -- sorry no exceptions.

get a free play day when they come 3 or more days per week.
They
must list your name in their information sheet and have completed 3 or more
days in one week at the spa.
